The Bloomfield Fire Department is proud of its long-standing tradition of educating those who plan on entering the fire service.
Bloomfield Fire has run the program for more than five years. Many junior firefighters have become adult firefighters on this and many other departments.
Requirements to be a junior firefighter are:
Currently attending school;
Live in the Bloomfield area;
Be at least 13 years of age;
Have a clean background and;
Desire to learn about firefighting.

If interested in becoming a junior firefighter, please join us at a meeting. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. (18:30) local time.
